In the last meeting of the Share team a decision was made which solution to use for the Job Board which now has priority on the Share team, to get implemented on this portal. Read on to find out how we made this decision, and for which solution we choose.
The saEditHandlers extension is now available on github:

The code in subversion will no longer be supported.
I've long wanted to have eZ Publish round off the corners for our users' avatars, and found several discussions here on share.ez.no about ways to do it. After playing around with these approaches, I believe I have found an improvement that may be of interest to people. It uses only an ImageMagick filter specified in image.ini.append.php, and does not need an image mask file. Its only downside is that it outputs PNG images-- but I prefer PNG anyways, especially for images this small.
Strong focus put on the Job Board for this meeting, Robin having done a great investigation/benchmarking work.
This fourth edition of the links round-up is a bit heavier than usual, covering the period since the third edition ( 18/10/11 ).
For now, the svn server of projects.ez.no will be used for delivering the packaged version of the installer itself.
Otoh all code development will happen starting immediate on on github.
