Planet eZ publish

The new Google Summer of Code is starting, and the PHP Project is participating again. This year my pet-peeve is Ilia's optimizer for APC. I hope this will just as beneficial as last year's circular-reference project. If you're interested in becoming familiar with PHP's internals, this is the project for you.

You are invited to eZ Publish Developer Day on the 15th of April, 2008 in Warsaw, Poland. This is the first ever eZ event in Poland! Since a few weeks, eZ Projects shows the log messages of the 10 most recent Subversion commits in each project space. Additionally, you can also use the RSS feeds on eZ Projects to follow Subversion activity per project or globally. More Subversion related features will be added in the future.

David Roetzel from the FrOSCon organization team just wrote to let me know that the FrOSCon 2008 call for papers has just opened.
FrOSCon is a great, community-focused and community-run free software and open source conference. Each year it brings together hundreds of some of the most engaged FOSS project members from across Europe and beyond.
The event is an incredible value: admission is very affordable, session content tends to be quite good and the hallway track (a.k.a. random conversations you have at the event with other participants) is awesome.
Last year, I went on behalf of Mozilla and eZ Systems and really enjoyed the event. (This year, as I try to cut down on the number of flights I am taking, I don’t think that I will be going.)
