It has taken a long time but I finally updated this website in eZ 4.0.

I also has made some changes :

• The design has changed
  
• Now, I'm not alone, I share this palce with Xavier Gouley.
• Less functionnalities, for the moment.
• I improved the RSS feed (which was not working well on the former version (3.8.6))
  

In the future, I plan to add :

• blogs of other persons
• comment functionnality
• vote functionnality
• chat functionnality

You are cordially invited to eZ Publish Developer Day on the 17th of April, 2008 in Paris. This is the fourth eZ Publish Developer Day, and the second to occur in Paris.

The event will partly be an "unconference" where attendees determine the topics. However, we will start with some presentations and a tutorial on eZ Find, and will finish with a presentation and discussion of the eZ Publish roadmap.

The event is hosted at the Sun "I Force centre", 42 Avenue de Iena, Paris. A concluding cocktail is kindly provided by Sun Microsystems.

As the number of seats are limited, prior registration is required. During registration you can also propose a topic or presentation for the unconference part. We will contact everyone who submits a proposal for final selection and arrangements.

eZ Publish automatically generates nice URLs (called "virtual URLs") for each content node. You can also create custom node URL aliases. However, the main virtual URL is always generated from your object's name or title. Thus it is sometimes too long and affects all internal links. A new feature in 3.10 onwards enables you to create a specific attribute used for the automatically-generated virtual URL. In essence, it enables you to create your own permalink for the object, separate from the object's name or title.
